Making Aquatics a Terrific Experience Seminar Series

Making Aquatics a Terrific Experience Seminar Series (MATE) AUSTSWIM, with the support of the NSW Ministry for Police and Emergency Services, is excited to be able to offer a limited number of fully funded seminar places for 2013

MATE is a 4 hour interactive session that will provide members with the information, skills and confidence to take a person with a medical condition and/or disability to the pool for recreation activities. The MATE session is not about swimming strokes; it is a guide to encouraging and facilitating physical activity in an aquatic environment for people who do not always have the opportunity to partake in aquatic activity.

Fully funded session places are now available for all session. Places are limited. Conditions apply.

Wholesale Nursery Open Day

Just a friendly reminder that Ability Options Wholesale Nursery will be holding its Plant Sale THIS SATURDAY (23 March), 8am-3pm at 279-295 Mamre Rd, St Clair.

A huge selection of plants will be available, including potted colour, hanging baskets and herbs. Bags of fertiliser and potting mix will also be for sale.

Ability Options Wholesale Nursery is an Australian Disability Enterprise providing employment and training opportunities to people with a disability. It produces close to 1 million plants a year and has adopted a number of water saving initiatives, including using recycled water for its plant production.
