TAFE NSW is Australia’s leading provider of vocational education and training (VET) with more than half a million enrolments online, in workplaces and across 10 Institutes with 130 campuses. TAFE NSW provides education and training to people across NSW, in courses from Certificate to Degree level across all major industry sectors.
We are consulting with our stakeholders to confirm what they most value about TAFE NSW to help us guide how we will operate in the future. So we are having a conversation with people about our future – Let’s talk about TAFE.
In our current environment, TAFE NSW needs to make changes to remain relevant and useful to students, employers and industry.
TAFE NSW is changing to meet three important priorities:
- To support the NSW Government by strengthening our skills base as it rebuilds the economy
- To respond to changing student, industry and community needs.
- To encourage people and employers to choose TAFE NSW in a more competitive environment.
We have identified some priority areas we want to focus on, and we would like your views to inform the changes ahead.
